A long-time resident of Chatham County, Tracie managed hundreds of legal matters at all levels of state and federal courts as a trial attorney. As in-house trial attorney, she was recognized for achieving 100% trial wins and client satisfaction. Because of her excellent legal skills, she is a member of ABOTA, an invitation-only national organization of attorneys with demonstrated trial experience, and Litigation Council of America (a national attorney society comprising less than .5% percent of American trial lawyers.)

FAIRNESS AND RESPECT.

Magistrate Court is often referred to as the “People’s Court” because parties are not required to have an attorney, making the legal process affordable for everyone. Because Magistrate Court also does not have juries, the Judge hears the evidence and applies the law.

That’s why Tracie’s proven legal knowledge and service as both Judge and Clerk/Court is important. As the Clerk, Tracie sees people often overwhelmed by unfamiliar legal procedures affecting them and their families or businesses. She helps provide access to general information from the beginning of each case to the end.

As a Judge, Tracie brings her proven legal knowledge and her experiences as the Clerk to the courtroom, treating all parties with impartiality, respect, and courtesy.
